JohnBoehner: Speaker Boehner Calls for Bipartisan Action to Avert the Fiscal Cliff
Speaker Boehner actually set the right tone in his press conference by putting something on the table. That President Obama and Leader Reid could consider to avoid the so called Fiscal Cliff, that if Democrats go along with additional spending cuts and reforms. The Speaker would accept Tax Reform that includes closing Tax Loopholes to pay for Deficit Reduction, thats really only one. Step away, which puts the President in position to either take that deal or to push for a millionaires tax and scrap. The 250K$ number that won't pas this Congress or in the next Congress, House or Senate and see if he can at least get a millionaires tax through the Democratic Senate. Especially with more Progressive minded people coming into the Senate in the next Congress.
